Breath of Earth: a Stroy from Jindo - World Premiere

Yoo’s first collaborative documentary film was world premiered at Ulju International Film Festival in South Korea on 9/29. The film explores the nexus and parallels of the soil carbon cycle and the people's views of life and death on an island called Jindo (Treasure Island) in South Korea. Yoo collaborated with Director Daehyun Kim, several other academics (anthropologists and ethnographers), and villagers on the island.

We plan to release the film to the public in the US and South Korea in 2025 and have a translator lined up for English subtitles.
